ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Connext, a portfolio company of Garden City Equity and partner of choice for national chains and multi-site retailers in need of scalable IT deployment solutions, announced today that it has acquired Trextel, a provider of fully managed services focused on enterprise connectivity, mobility, security and IoT technologies.
Connext and Trextel’s shared focus on large enterprise customers stems from their shared history – Connext was formerly the deployment and field services division of Trextel. This transaction brings the two companies “back together,” creating an IT technology deployment platform able to provide a complete lifecycle of services to national chains with multi-site footprints.
“What excites me most is the enhanced value we can deliver to our customers,” said Craig Chumley, CEO of Connext. “We can now manage what we deploy. Our customers can now rely upon a single partner to provide them with a full range of services from solution design, project management, and deployment to on-going maintenance and managed services support.”
Michael Arrieta, Garden City Equity Founder & CEO commented, “Garden City shares the vision with the Connext leadership team to become the most trusted technology deployment partner in North America. Bringing together Trextel’s managed services with our technology deployment and Day 2 preventative maintenance services unlocks multiple opportunities to create additional value for our customers and accelerate growth.”
This transaction marks Garden City Equity’s eighth investment since 2020 and first add-on acquisition at Connext.
