Joel currently serves as Vice President at Garden City Companies. He concentrates on driving long term growth in our portfolio companies by developing leadership teams and culture that deliver on our vision of creating a family of the most caring companies in the world where all workers thrive. In addition to leadership and culture development, Joel develops and oversees key strategic plans to enhance each portfolio company’s technology, sales, and operational capability.

Prior to joining Garden City, Joel founded and managed a firm that invested private capital to transition small business ownership and fuel continued growth. Additionally, he worked at Georgia Pacific in brand management and sales strategy roles across multiple iconic brands including Brawny, Dixie, and Angel Soft. In these roles, he gained extensive experience with P&L management, pricing, operations, supply chain, project management, marketing and sales strategy.

Joel holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Drury University and an MBA from Ohio State University. He and his wife live in Atlanta, GA where they attend and lead small groups through North Point Community Church.
